The Cra'awrios Calendar was instituted as the standard for all academia within the magocracy of Cra'awrios. With a calendar era based on the date of First Contact between the three landmasses, which was itself established by Cra'awrios, The calendar was organized and ratified on the first day of its first month, year 403 PC.

The calendar is designed with precision in mind. Vennar's rotation around the sun is very exact, with the rotation completed in a cycle of 300 days, variable by about 2.4 hours. This allows a fairly regular calendar, with an extra day every ten years between the months of Valoni and Telunar. The months are structured around Aejuna, the major moon, and her position in the sky, which creates the seasons of the world. Aejuna is full in the sky roughly every 14th-16th of the month, and new every 30th-1st.

The calendar year is written out in reference to first contact. According to standard writing, BC (Before Contact) is written after the year, and PC (Post Contact) is written before the year.

For example,

Present Calendar Year - PC 1426

Year of First Contact - PC 0

Discovery of Magic - 277,350 BC

The months are kept very simple, as academia demands. Months are simply numbered, and referenced as such. For example, where Makhavireth would reference Duskfal 13th, Cra'awriaos would reference the 13th day of the 8th month. Weeks are also referenced as such.
